Fire-Rehab Foundation
Our mission is to provide life saving emergency scene rehab training, equipment, and support to those who serve our community.
Rehab provides firefighters and other emergency personnel with medical monitoring, hydration, nutrition, shelter, and rest when involved in an extended incident. The goal of rehab is to prevent first responders from developing significant illnesses related to exposure or exertion, such as heatstroke or heart attack. |

For many years, the fire service defined rehab as the place to obtain a new full self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) bottle, a cup of coffee, and a donut. However, rehab should be very different; it is a critical part of incident management crucial to providing a standard each and every time.
